William Easterly points out a book called "The History of White People." I always love books/articles that point out changes in language. It makes me think of spontaneous order. Easterly's article about the book has a tint of caution against the fatal conceit. He writes that the book is a "Good cautionary tale for being careful and modest when we attempt to talk about ethnicity and development today."
